Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using Producer ("the Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Producer, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Producer is a comic-book studio: from a premise it develops a show, writes issues in sequence, draws every panel in a chosen look with a consistent cast, narrates them, and assembles each issue for you to review and publish. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service, with reasonable notice of material changes where possible.

3. Accounts and Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, accept responsibility for activity under your account, and notify us of unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms; you may delete your account at any time from your settings, which removes your comics, panels, credits and any connected publishing account.

4. Credits, Plans and Billing

The Service runs on credits. One credit is one panel take of drawing; an issue costs about 20, or about 35 in a premium look. A monthly plan puts credits on your desk each billing month, and unused plan credits lapse 60 days after they are granted; credit packs bought separately never lapse and are spent after plan credits. New accounts receive 75 welcome credits that lapse after 14 days. Every action that spends credits shows its price before you confirm it.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Plans renew automatically each month until cancelled; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you keep the period's credits until they lapse. Credits are a licence to use the Service, not money: they have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and are not refundable once used. Credits the Service consumed on its own failures are returned to you automatically. If a pack purchase is refunded, its unused credits are removed. We may change prices with advance notice; changes apply from your next renewal.

5. Your Content and the Output

You own what you bring — premises, scripts you edit, names, descriptions, and any photos you upload. You grant Producer a limited licence to store, process, and display that content solely to run the Service for you. Output the Service generates for you (scripts, panels, narration, assembled issues) is yours to use, publish, and sell, to the extent permitted by law; we claim no ownership of it and do not use it to train models. Because generative output can resemble other output, we cannot promise it is unique or that it is protectable under copyright in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for the output you publish.

When you upload a photo of a person, animal, or place to draw from, you confirm you have the right to use it that way and, for a person, their permission.

6. Acceptable Use

Comics may be dark, violent, frightening, satirical, or political — that is fiction. You may not use the Service to create: sexual content involving anyone under 18; sexually explicit content; depictions of a real, identifiable person in a sexual, violent, humiliating, or defamatory scene; hateful content that demeans people for a protected characteristic; or practical instructions for serious harm. The Service checks the text you enter against this policy and refuses what falls outside it. You also agree not to violate laws, infringe others' rights, attempt to reverse-engineer or overload the Service, gain unauthorized access to it or to other users' data, or share account credentials.

7. AI-Generated Content

The Service generates content with machine-learning models. Output may be inaccurate, inconsistent, or unexpected; it is provided for creative use and is not professional advice. Where you publish generated content, you are responsible for any disclosure the destination platform requires; when the Service publishes for you it marks the content as altered or synthetic.

8. YouTube and Google Services

If you connect a YouTube channel, the Service uses YouTube API Services to upload and manage your videos. By connecting, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's Privacy Policy applies to the data Google holds. The Service stores an encrypted access token for your channel and uses it only to upload the issues you publish, to set their disclosure label, and to read their view counts back to you. You can revoke the Service's access at any time from your channel's settings in the Service or from your Google account permissions.

9. Copyright Complaints

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, write to support@hammaridgeventures.com with the URL, a description of the work, your contact details, and a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized. We remove infringing content and may terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, incorporated by reference.

11. Third-Party Services

The Service is built on third-party providers — model hosting for images and video, a model gateway for text, payments, hosting, database, email, and analytics — named in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for complying with their terms where applicable; we are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PRODUCER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, OR DATA. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

14. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Producer operates. Disputes shall first be attempted informally by contacting support@hammaridgeventures.com; if unresolved within 30 days, either party may pursue resolution through the courts in that jurisdiction.

15. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time, posting the update here, revising the "Last updated" date, and emailing account holders of material changes. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

16. Severability & Entire Agreement

If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement regarding the Service.
